heat already invites you to go thinking in the beach or in the
pool: if you are most devoted to the latter, perhaps you've noticed that the
chlorine present in the water can damage your skin or hair. On this occasion, we show you some
tips to prevent chlorine affecting, in a greater or less degree, your skin or hair.
For the skin
One of the best tips is to
take a shower or well you've taken a dip in the pool, this way you'll get rid of the remnants of chlorine from the skin. If in addition then you apply any
moisturizer or substance natural moisturizer, such as aloe vera gel or almond oil, you will prevent the dryness and improve the appearance and health of your skin. Remember to
pre-dry the skin well and apply the moisturizing cream or lotion for all your skin: from the tip of the feet up to the face.
For the hair
The hair is one of the more lacklustre by the chlorine in the pools, so if you frequent a lot of these places of entertainment, so the best is
to use a spray protector that prevents chlorine damaging the hair, half an hour before you dip. You can get it in shopping centres or in shops of aesthetics.
Another ally is the
swim cap: nothing is better than using a cap to prevent the chlorine from damaging the mane. It will be a matter of choosing one that matches your bikini or swimsuit and put a lot of attitude.
Do not neglect the
shampoo: it is important that you choose one of quality and that fit the summer and their characteristics. All major brands have
lines of summer, protecting your hair from the harmful effects of the sun, the beach and the pools.
Don't forget that in addition to a good shampoo which suits your hair type, you'll also need to use a
good conditioner and, if possible, a face mask to hydrate the hair after the pool.
Finally, a council natural:
oils of coconut and sweet almond, are ideal for hydrating the hair completely natural way. The advice is that you place a few drops of any of them on your hands, rub a little and lay by the ends and the means of your hair before you go to bed, the days you've been in the pool.
