Mindful eating: 5 foods with anti-aging (II)





No need to wait until 40 to start eating well. If we adopt a healthy diet from young, we grow old maintaining the vitality for a long time.
For this reason, to grow old in conditions, our body requires foods that contain antioxidants, or nutrients precursors of antioxidants.   • The red cabbage: the color purple of the red cabbage is due to the lycopene, a substance with anti-aging very valuable and rare that is also found in tomatoes. In addition it has a high percentage of beta-carotene, vitamin C and E, the main antioxidant.


  • The watercress: rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C and E, are involved in the protection of cellular aging. It also contains calcium, iron associated with vitamin B9. Are cleansing and stimulating. It also contains lipid -although in very low numbers - that help the protection of the cardiovascular system.
  • The bean sprouts: Contain lecithin, a substance protective of the heart and arteries. It also acts against the cholesterol and helps maintain the nervous system and brain, thanks to their essential fatty acids. Contain fibres which facilitate intestinal transit, in addition contain isoflavones, molecules that help to alleviate the side effects of hormonal changes: hot flashes, irritabilildad, etc
