The mind is a body that studies the psychology
to understand human behavior, emerges from the brain, and forms and organizes the conduct of the people. Throughout history there have been developed numerous theories surrounding their complex mysteries that we have not yet begun to understand. If you are interested in these topics, it is good to know that the neuroscientist argentine,
Mariano Sigman, has recently written a book called
“The secret life of the mind”, a work that seeks to explain the sides more hidden that cover our neurons, from a psychological approach.
The publication, according to Sigman, is not intended to be a work more of the so-called “neuroboom” or
best-selling of popular science, but that has its own research of the author and of the collaborations in which it has participated, together with other experts, about the mysterious
recesses of the human brain. And today we want to tell you a little more about this interesting publication.
In what cases deliberated our decisions and in which we sense?what we may be able to read the minds of the people? how do we control the subconscious? These are just some of the issues reflected in the book, sorted in chapters in which are explained, in addition, the mechanisms of the mind since our childhood and adolescence, identity, decision making, awareness, and education.
The difference with other books that talk about the mind is that, not only addresses the issue from a psychological point of view, but also provides data from
different disciplines, such as psychoanalysis, behavioral economics, and philosophy, among others.
Process brain in love
Throughout numerous researches, experts have concluded that we make decisions under the orders of our emotions, and, perhaps, the most complicated to take are those related to
love and affection.
Can we choose who to fall in love with? This is another of the issues addressed in the book and that brings us to understand in a scientific way if it would be possible to control and better understand our emotions.
